
ROME, April 1st (News Agency) – Bologna delivered a powerful performance, securing a convincing 3-0 away win against Empoli, significantly increasing their chances of reaching the Coppa Italia final. Orsolini and Dallinga were key players, with Dallinga scoring twice.
Empoli`s coach, D`Aversa, lamented his team`s poor first-half performance, noting a partial recovery in the second half in terms of play. However, Bologna only needed the first half to dominate Empoli. Bologna started the match with determination and quickly created several scoring opportunities. Orsolini was particularly dangerous, coming close to scoring the opening goal in the early minutes.
In the 23rd minute, Odgaard delivered a cross from the left, finding Orsolini, who outmaneuvered Seghetti to score. In the 29th minute, Miranda pushed forward and passed to Dallinga, who entered the box and beat Seghetti with a right-footed shot.
Empoli appeared to start the second half with more energy, but it was Dallinga again who scored in the 6th minute, effectively sealing the victory. Bologna is now closer to a historic Coppa Italia final, a feat they haven`t achieved in 50 years.
