Sky Sport commentator Maurizio Compagnoni discussed current football topics. He noted that all matches for a Champions League spot are currently very complicated, but the key encounter is between Bologna and Juventus. This game will largely determine the standings in the race for the top 4. The match result (whether Bologna wins, Juventus wins, or it`s a draw) will significantly affect the situation. Compagnoni believes it will be a real “playoff” match. In his opinion, Bologna is currently in good form, although perhaps they weren`t brilliant against Udinese. Nobody gets anything easily in this league. The winner of the Bologna-Juventus match will receive a powerful psychological boost.

Speaking about Juventus, Compagnoni added that the team was in a deadlock; the harmony between the players and the previous coach was disrupted. With the arrival of Igor Tudor, this harmony has returned. Of course, Tudor isn`t a magician, and Juventus has obvious problems. Compagnoni believes that individually, Juve`s players are very strong, but the team isn`t built optimally. There are mistakes that will likely need to be corrected in the next summer transfer window. Nevertheless, under Tudor, Juventus is playing reasonably well, even if they aren`t showcasing “phenomenal” football, but that`s impossible at the end of the season. The team is still in the fight. Obviously, if Juventus doesn`t finish in the top 4, it will be a major issue because the club has spent a lot and has several expensive player buyouts. The management will have to do something in the market. It will be important to see who the new coach will be and what the future holds for Dušan Vlahović, who has only one year left on his contract, which is very expensive. Buying a striker of Juve`s caliber doesn`t cost 20 million euros. For Juventus, finishing in the top four is extremely important from an economic perspective.
