Viareggio, Italy – Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has expressed his delight with the team`s current performance, highlighting their recent positive streak of four games. Speaking at the 75th edition of the Viareggio Cup final, where Fiorentina`s youth team played against Genoa, Commisso reiterated his unwavering support for coach Palladino. He also showered praise on striker Moise Kean, stating, “There are very few players like him. I am truly happy and confident that we can surpass last year`s achievements, as I mentioned at the beginning of the season.”
Commisso also commended the youth team, coached by Marco Capparella, despite their narrow defeat to Genoa in the Viareggio Cup final. “Having followed all the qualification matches from America, I can say they were excellent. It`s a shame about the loss, but they gave it their all,” Commisso added.
Genoa`s first-team coach, Patrik Vieira, who was also present, briefly commented, “It was a good day for the entire club.”
