Colon cancer is recognized as one of the most prevalent forms of cancer worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, it ranks as the third most frequently diagnosed cancer globally, accounting for nearly one in ten cancer cases. While advancements in early diagnostic screenings have significantly improved treatment possibilities and survival rates in recent years, there’s also a concerning trend of increasing incidence among individuals under 50 years old.

This type of cancer is typically categorized into five distinct stages. Early diagnosis is of paramount importance because, with each advancing stage, treatment becomes progressively more challenging and the overall survival rate tends to diminish.
