Chirico on Juve-Lecce: “Good First Half, But Games Must Be Closed Out”

`Chirico

Football analyst Marcello Chirico commented on Juventus` dominant first half performance against Lecce on his YouTube channel MarceloChiriconline.

He stated that the two goals perfectly reflected Tudor`s philosophy of vertical gameplay. However, Chirico pointed out that in the second half, the team showed familiar problems from the Motta era and struggled excessively.

He mentioned examples of carelessness, like Thuram`s turnover to Rebic, where goalkeeper Di Gregorio made a vital save.

Chirico agreed with Locatelli that Juventus should secure victory in such games earlier. He praised Vlahovic`s hard work and two assists but noted his missed clear chances to score.
