In a captivating first leg of the Champions League semi-final, Barcelona and Inter Milan played out a dramatic 3-3 draw. Inter made an explosive start, taking the lead just 30 seconds into the match when Marcus Thuram cleverly backheeled a low cross from Denzel Dumfries into the net.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 21st minute as Dumfries struck again with a spectacular acrobatic finish inside the box following a corner kick. Barcelona, however, did not panic. They responded through the brilliance of Lamine Yamal, who weaved past several Inter defenders and found the net past Yann Sommer in the 24th minute. Yamal continued to threaten, hitting the crossbar shortly after a similarly dazzling run.

Before halftime, Barcelona drew level at 2-2. Ferran Torres scored, connecting with a header assist from Raphinha. The seesaw nature of the game continued into the second half. Dumfries rose highest from another corner to head Inter back in front, making it 3-2.

Yet, the lead was fleeting. Raphinha unleashed a powerful shot from outside the area which rattled the crossbar, only for the rebound to unfortunately hit Sommer`s back and trickle into the goal for the final 3-3 scoreline. The thrilling result leaves the tie perfectly poised ahead of the crucial return match scheduled for May 6th at the San Siro.
