Antonio Cassano has launched a scathing attack on Juventus following the club`s decision to sack Thiago Motta after just 8 months and replace him with Igor Tudor.
Speaking on Viva El Futbol, Cassano reiterated his criticism of Motta, stating that he was not suitable for a top club and had performed poorly, failing to improve the team. He expressed surprise at Juventus` decision and sarcastically commented on Juventus` «style,» calling it «shit.»
Cassano questioned who makes decisions at Juventus and suggested that if Giuntoli is responsible for Motta`s appointment, he should resign, especially given the club`s initial statements of confidence in Motta after the Fiorentina game. Cassano believes Giuntoli is shifting blame and that if he is not the key decision-maker, the club should reveal who is. Even if Giuntoli lacks power, Cassano argues he should still resign. He also mocked talk of a «winning mentality» and «club DNA,» stating that even non-professionals do a better job.
