Carlos Alcaraz shared his thoughts following his victory in the second round of the Internazionali d`Italia. Reflecting on his performance, he stated:
“These past few days I`ve focused on concentrating and feeling as good as possible. I believe it was a great match, especially on serve. I felt very comfortable, with a high percentage, good signs within reasonable limits, and I think this provides a lot of confidence for what lies ahead.”
Looking ahead to his plans while in Rome, the Spanish player mentioned:
“Tomorrow I have a friend (Patric) who lives here and plays for Lazio, and we`ll watch the match since we can see a Serie A game. We`ll enjoy ourselves and, of course, we`ll have time to visit Rome. I`d also like to walk around the city and see the beautiful sights of Rome.”
He also commented on his fellow competitor:
“And, of course, I`ll be keeping an eye on Sinner and his return.”
The article notes that Alcaraz, referred to as the world No. 1, is scheduled to play his match at 7 PM on the Centre Court. This follows the Lazio-Juventus football game, which is set to kick off at 6:00 PM at the Olimpico stadium, allowing him to potentially watch the match before his own.
