Marco Capriotti, director of Oggi Sport Notizie, spoke on Juve Zone, a YouTube program by Calciomercato.it, about the future of Juventus`s managerial position: “We`ll see what Tudor does, he is liked by the fans. There`s great enthusiasm, an enthusiasm that could lead the management to focus on the Croatian. Some may think of experiences like at Udine and possibly contest this choice, but if he achieves excellent results in the league and performs well at the World Cup, he will certainly be a candidate.”
Regarding alternatives: “Antonio Conte would be very welcome, but I expect a surprise name. Zidane? If I were in his place, I would stay home calmly (smiles, ed.). I also think there`s a problem with focusing on a young coach; it`s complicated after last summer`s choice. So, they will go for a sure name.”
But if Conte doesn`t arrive, they could still focus on Tudor: “It`s a possibility. Pioli? He is Juventus-minded from a footballing point of view; in my opinion, he could be the coach who fixes the situation, but I don`t see big differences with the Croatian. They are excellent managers, but it wouldn`t change much.”
