Nicolas Viola, Cagliari`s attacking midfielder, spoke to La Nuova Sardegna. Here are his words:

“I study players who represent the kind of football I like. As a child, I was fascinated by Alvaro Recoba, Roberto Baggio, Fernando Redondo – elegant, intelligent footballers who see the game before others. I have had good coaches like Gian Piero Gasperini, Claudio Ranieri, Marco Baroni. But it was Roberto De Zerbi who helped me mature and taught me things I didn`t know before.”

“He is the coach who managed to make me understand certain aspects, thanks to him I discovered football dynamics that I hadn`t noticed before. I am sure he will achieve great success. He is highly appreciated in the Premier League. I wouldn`t be surprised at all if I see him on the bench of a big Italian team soon.”
