Bundesliga Star Chema Andres Openly Flirts with Real Madrid Return

Midfielder Chema Andres, who joined VfB Stuttgart from Real Madrid just last summer, has quickly emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s standout players. Despite his rapid rise and success in Stuttgart, the Spanish U21 international openly expresses his desire to return to Real Madrid. Andres stated, «I would be delighted to return to Madrid, but at the moment, I’m not focusing on it.» He further added, «That’s a decision the club has to make. I am very happy in Stuttgart.»

Chema Andres: Buy-Back Clause Set at €13.5 Million

VfB Stuttgart paid approximately three million euros to RM Castilla for the 20-year-old before the season. Under coach Sebastian Hoeneß, Andres has made an impressive 32 competitive appearances for Stuttgart. However, Real Madrid retains a buy-back clause and a 50 percent sell-on clause, meaning they would receive half of any future transfer fee. If Real decides to re-sign Andres next summer, the agreed fee would be 13.5 million euros, increasing to 18 million euros a year later. Andres himself is in no rush and prefers to concentrate on his football with VfB, where he is under contract until 2030. He stated, «I told my agent that I don’t want to know anything about it for now. When the time comes, we will talk about it and see what options we have.»

Real Madrid: Potential Buy-Backs for Nico Paz and Victor Munoz as well?

Real Madrid frequently utilizes buy-back clauses to reacquire former youth players. For the upcoming summer, it is anticipated that two other former academy players, Nico Paz (currently with Como) and Victor Munoz (currently with Osasuna), might return to the Bernabéu. The buy-back clause for Paz is set at nine million euros, while Munoz is available for eight million euros.
