Journalist Marco Bucciantini shared his thoughts on Juventus` current state following their recent draw against Igor Tudor`s Lazio side.
Speaking on Radio Sportiva, Bucciantini commented that this season, Juventus lacked the required rhythm to effectively leverage players like Douglas Luiz and Koopmeiners. He added that Gonzalez had been somewhat underwhelming. Bucciantini pointed out that these players constituted a major part of the club`s transfer activity, speculating that their absolute value might have been inaccurately assessed.
Turning to Cristiano Giuntoli, Bucciantini observed that the sporting director has set an ambitious goal: improving the team`s gameplay, getting the finances in order, and lowering the average age of the squad. He emphasized that this is a long-term project, concluding by saying that, clearly, some missteps have also occurred.
