Flavio Briatore, a prominent Juventus supporter, recently used Instagram to vent his frustration over the club`s current struggles. Here are his remarks:
“Good morning, good morning, good morning. Today is a big day for Formula 1 qualifying and a big football match. Paris Saint-Germain vs Inter, best wishes to Inter.
I am a Juventus fan, I have been for many years and have seen many things, but this time it`s a bit different. A few days ago I went to sleep, and we had the chance to get Conte as coach. It was done, Conte wasn`t going to Napoli. I wake up, and Conte is not the Juve coach, but the Napoli coach. Whatever.
But Giuntoli, who we got wrong because we should have signed De Laurentiis instead of Giuntoli, I said that last time. Giuntoli leaves. Okay, and Comolli arrives. Juve must always have a coach who arrives, a director, a head, this guy is the head, the CEO… I said, surely he comes from a big team. I find out, I didn`t know him, and he comes from Toulouse, okay.
He immediately gets to work, we don`t have Conte, we`ll take Gasperini. I go to sleep, I wake up, and Gasperini is at Roma.
And Gasperini, for the first deal Comolli was supposed to close, he got slapped. Whatever, Juve once had a waiting list for coaches. Now it seems Comolli is targeting Pioli, can you believe it?
Long live Juve, and tonight long live Inter. Ciao.”
The Piedmontese manager shared these thoughts in his lengthy social media outburst.
