BRAMBILLA: “Peccato finire così, ma il lavoro dei ragazzi resta ottimo”

Juventus Next Gen coach Massimo Brambilla spoke to Juventus.com after the draw in Crotone which resulted in the team`s elimination from the Serie C playoffs. “It was a balanced match, as we expected,” said Brambilla. “Both sides approached it cautiously, knowing it would be difficult to break the deadlock. The plan was not to push too hard, despite needing to win, because Crotone has dangerous attackers. We had the clearest chance with Guerra, and taking the lead there could have changed the outcome.”

“However, in the playoffs, details matter, and today we lacked that decisive spark in the final twenty meters, where more quality and composure were needed. The draw favors the team with more points in the regular season, and that`s fair. Despite the regret about how it ended, I am very satisfied with the progress the lads have made in recent months. Thinking back to the team we saw at the beginning, right here in Crotone, and comparing it to today`s team, you can see significant growth. We`ve gained confidence, competed with everyone, and achieved important results. It`s a shame to finish this way, but the quality of the work done by the team remains high.”
