Bezzi on TMW Radio: “I See Juve One Step Ahead of Bologna”

Journalist Gianni Bezzi recently spoke on *TMW Radio*, offering his analysis of Juventus`s position in the increasingly tight battle for a top-four spot in Serie A. Here are his key remarks:

Bezzi stated, “I see Juventus being one step ahead of Bologna, especially considering their match against Udinese where they seemed careful not to exert themselves, likely with the Coppa Italia in mind. At this moment, I consider Juve the favorites for that fourth place.”

He continued by assessing another contender: “Lazio are anything but reliable, they alternate between excellent performances and major slip-ups, much like their inconsistent two-faced game yesterday against Parma. They are a team with an incomplete squad, and it frankly annoys me when someone criticizes [coach] Baroni. Given the roster he has, he`s managed a season at a very high level.” Bezzi placed responsibility for Lazio`s situation elsewhere: “There`s only one person accountable for this final stretch, and that`s the president, who has always made it clear what his financial availability is.” He also commented on a specific incident from Lazio`s match: “Yesterday there was a blatant penalty not awarded to Romagnoli.” Finally, he concluded with a thought on another experienced manager: “And I`ll wrap up by saying that Ranieri is a top coach and is aiming to get into the Champions League.”
