Agent Battistini Discusses Caprile, Club World Cup, and Serie A Landscape

Graziano Battistini, the representative for Cagliari`s goalkeeper Elia Caprile, shared his insights on his client and other football matters during an interview with Radio Napoli Centrale. As reported, Battistini commented, “Unless proven otherwise, Elia is set to remain Cagliari`s goalkeeper. However, the transfer window is, of course, always open. If an advantageous offer for everyone involved were to arise, then we would evaluate the situation.”

He touched upon the difficulties young talents face in gaining playing time in Italy, describing it as a characteristic of the nation`s football culture. Regarding Napoli`s goalkeeping situation, he stated, “Considering their numerous commitments, Napoli absolutely needs strong goalkeepers next season. Napoli appears to be the most active club currently in both bringing in and moving out players; they look like the favorites.”

Addressing the participation of Inter and Juventus in the Club World Cup, Battistini remarked, “I would describe it as an experiment. It certainly led to a significant expenditure of energy, but the players will have adequate time to recover.”

Speaking about Milan, he noted, “Milan will have the opportunity to reset with Allegri. They have the chance to concentrate solely on the league competition, where they are certainly capable of being key contenders.”

Finally, concerning Ivan Juric`s potential move to Atalanta, Battistini observed, “Following Gasperini`s departure, Atalanta was faced with a significant strategic choice and consequently decided to continue by maintaining a specific strategic direction.”
