AC Milan Tables «Extraordinary» Three-Year Deal for Departing Bayern Star Leon Goretzka

A leading European club is reportedly making a strong push to sign Leon Goretzka, whose departure from FC Bayern Munich is imminent.

According to Italian media reports, AC Milan has made an aggressive approach to the German international, enticing him with an exceptionally attractive offer.

The Serie A club is said to be planning a three-year contract for Goretzka, despite him being 31 years old, with an annual salary of five million euros. This means the midfielder could earn a total of 15 million euros over the course of the contract with the Rossoneri – a significantly longer duration and higher total value than many other clubs might offer.

However, it is emphasized that a final decision has not yet been made. While an agreement could be reached quickly if negotiations proceed successfully, Goretzka’s full focus remains on the remainder of the season with FC Bayern Munich, where he still has the chance to win all three major titles: the German championship, the DFB-Pokal, and the Champions League.

Goretzka himself recently clarified: «As much as I felt honored by the interest of other international top clubs, I have made the decision to finish the season with FC Bayern. I am one hundred percent convinced that we can win everything this year.»

It has been confirmed for some time that his tenure with the German record champions will end this summer. At the end of January, Munich confirmed that the midfielder’s expiring contract would not be renewed, making Goretzka available on a free transfer.

In addition to Milan, clubs such as Arsenal, Fenerbahçe Istanbul, Juventus Turin, Atletico Madrid, SSC Napoli, and city rivals Inter Milan have been mentioned in recent weeks as potential new employers for the 31-year-old.

Goretzka joined FC Bayern from Schalke 04 in 2018. Despite recurring rumors of an early departure from Munich in recent years, the midfielder remained loyal to FCB and proved his worth under various coaches. Under Vincent Kompany, he made 39 appearances across all competitions this season, contributing two goals and two assists.
